Respected President Healy, Vice-President Lee, Dear teachers and students,

    三天的研学之旅不知不觉就结束了，我们在不舍中不得不相互告别。

The three-day research and study tour is coming to an end, and we have to say good-bye.

    三天以来，我们体验到许多课程，感受到您及帕默斯顿高中对此次行程的高度重视和投入。我和代表团的全体师生们开阔了眼界，增长了见闻，丰富了阅历。我们不仅学习了知识，了解了文化，还体验了您精心安排的地方美食。同时，三天的亲密相处也让我们彼此建立了深厚的友谊，留下了终身难忘的回忆。

During the past three days, we experienced a variety of courses, feeling your great concern and engagement. All the teachers and students and I have widened our horizons, witnessed various fantasies, and enriched our experiences. Not only have we acquainted some precious academic knowledge and technology, but we’ve also tasted local special and delicious food well prepared by you all. Three days’ face-to-face communication has greatly promoted our friendship and left an unforgettable impression in our heart.

Thank you, President Healy, Mr. Lee, all the colleagues from Education Bureau of North Territory, all the participants of this activity. It is your companion that makes us feel the warmth in cold winter in Australia; it is your sound arrangement that makes this trip interesting and fruitful; and it is your devotion that makes our tour a great success beyond our expectations.

    英国著名诗人莎士比亚说过，凡是过去，皆为序章。让我们以此次访问为契机，共同开启两国、两地、两校间进一步合作与交流的新篇章，为增进中澳间文化和教育的相互理解和融合添砖加瓦。在此，我代表合肥一六八教育集团校长吴菊文先生诚挚邀请Healy校长、Robert Lee 副校长，北领地教育局的同事们和师生在方便的时候回访。

As British poet Shakespeare says, what’s past is prologue. Let’s take advantage of this visit to start a brand-new chapter for our two schools, two cities and two countries, and to promote more cultural and educational communication and understanding. Here, on behalf of Headmaster, Mr. Wu Juwen, I sincerely invite President Healy, Mr. Lee, colleagues from Education Bureau of North Territory to pay a visit to our school in China.

    我们希望作为姊妹学校，我们能进一步深化合作，拓宽合作渠道。一、继续做好现有的师生研学项目；二、是否有可能开展两校教师学术研讨交流项目，提升双方教师学术水平。也可以考虑支持1-2个月的短期、一学期或一学年的教师互换项目，在我校开展英语及其文化课程项目以及在帕莫斯顿高中开展汉语及文化课程项目。三、继续开设网上课程和其他特色课程项目，我校也可以支持贵校感兴趣的网上课程，拓宽两校学生国际视野。以上如有可能，可以通过双方国际部联系人，进行进一步沟通，细化相关事宜。

Hopefully, as sister schools, we shall further our cooperation and broaden collaborative channels. Firstly, we will continue current research and study tour for teachers and students. Secondly, it is proposed to design certain programmes for teachers from the two schools to exchange academic research and teaching methodology to enhance teachers’ professional skills. Alternatively, programmes for teacher exchange for 1-2 months, one semester or an academic year can be set for teachers from our school to teach Chinese and Chinese culture in Palmerston Senior College, and for teachers from Palmerston to teach English and Australian culture in Hefei 168 senior high school. Thirdly, online courses and other special courses (in Palmerston) are expected to provide chances to reach students with the support of our school to broaden international horizons for students in both schools. If all these proposals are feasible, further cooperation and relevant details can be negotiated by working staff in international departments from both schools.

    中国有句古话，志合者，不以山海为远。虽然我们远隔万里，但是共同的理念让我们走到了一起。相信在我们的继续努力下，两国两地两校间的交流一定能更上一个台阶，明天更美好！

As a Chinese saying goes, even mountains and seas cannot distance people with common aspiration. Thousands of miles away as we are, we get together with the same faith. It is strongly believed that with our continuous efforts and devotions, the communication between us will definitely accomplish a greater target. Tomorrow will be much brighter.
